Not much to say about this one really. I knew immediately after meeting him that I didn’t fancy him, but after the date last week I was feeling so guilty that I stayed for 4 hours, sinking many humongous glasses of white wine in the process just to avoid the same situation occurring again!

The ‘No Spark’ guy

Location: The Portcullis  I know a girl who goes on 3 dates with every single guy she matches with online, because she says you can’t tell from just one date what they’re really like and whether you actually fancy them.  I see her point, but tend to disagree. For the majority of dates I’ve been on, I've known within the first five minutes I didn’t fancy them! That sounds harsh, but actually it's not got anything to do with looks, height or even how interesting they are. If you don’t have that connection, that 'spark', then it’s not going to go anywhere. That stupid little spark is so important it can overcome anything, so that even if someone is not your usual 'type', you fancy the pants off them. The Sloppy Kisser

Location: Bar near Oxford Circus Still quite new to online dating apps, the messages exchanged between me and this next guy seemed definitely promising…funny, witty and very flirtatious – for some reason we agreed that we would kiss upon meeting (despite being complete strangers) and I was actually really looking forward to the date. Lesson learnt – never look forward to it and never get your hopes up. They will be dashed!  We did indeed kiss upon meeting. But unfortunately it was so horrendously awful that I had to subtly wipe my face with my hand to remove the slobber! This is the first example of how my dating life is starting to mirror that of the Sex and The City girls...and not in a good way.
