Not much to say about this one really. I knew immediately after meeting him that I didn’t fancy him, but after the date last week I was feeling so guilty that I stayed for 4 hours, sinking many humongous glasses of white wine in the process just to avoid the same situation occurring again!

Location: The Vittoria Rainy Monday. Monday evenings are for sofa cuddling and an early night, but for some reason I decided a date would be a more efficient use of my time.   I realised the error in my ways at around 4pm at work, when I messaged said date to call it off. The Sloppy Kisser

Location: Bar near Oxford Circus Still quite new to online dating apps, the messages exchanged between me and this next guy seemed definitely promising…funny, witty and very flirtatious – for some reason we agreed that we would kiss upon meeting (despite being complete strangers) and I was actually really looking forward to the date. Lesson learnt – never look forward to it and never get your hopes up. They will be dashed!  We did indeed kiss upon meeting. But unfortunately it was so horrendously awful that I had to subtly wipe my face with my hand to remove the slobber! This is the first example of how my dating life is starting to mirror that of the Sex and The City girls...and not in a good way. Dating Disasters...why me?!

Hello Readers and welcome to my blog! I decided to start writing this after a lovely, if slightly depressing, weekend with my uni mates who all have boyfriends/husbands/babies/houses. I am the only single one left, and according to them I am ‘living the life’! I do love being super independent, and have had a lot of fun, but at the same time I would really like a special someone as well (not so fussed about the baby bit!) This blog captures some of the dates I have experienced since becoming single. They’re pretty funny now I look back (well I can either laugh or cry!) and writing it has given me a completely different mindset, where I am now actually looking forward to my next disastrous date!  I hope you enjoy reading…   P.S Dad, please don’t read this, it contains things you might not want to know about your youngest daughter!
